Grey Bruce OPP say one person had to be taken to hospital and four others suffered minor injuries in a multi-vehicle collision in Southgate.
It happened just after 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Grey Road 14. Grey Bruce OPP say four passenger vehicles and a snow plow were involved in incident.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the snow plow was initially involved in a collision, prompting him to step outside his vehicle, at which point he got struck by another vehicle, causing a secondary collision,” OPP say in a release.
Police say the snow plow driver was transported to hospital with injuries described as “non-life-threatening.” Four others were left with minor injuries.
The OPP say whiteout conditions were a factor in the collision.
Grey Road 14 remains closed between Highway 89 and Southgate Road 3.
