Parker von Richter and Carter Lowe each scored a pair as the Barrie Colts downed the Owen Sound Attack 5-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
William Schneid also scored for Barrie (28-10-2-4), which won its sixth straight game.
Masen Wray had the lone goal for the Attack (18-21-1-3). Owen Sound dropped its fifth in a row, coming up empty on a five-game homestand.
The Colts never trailed. They led 3-1 after the first, and added singles in the second and third periods.
Ben Hrebik made 28 saves in the win, while Trenten Bennett stopped 28 taking the loss. The Colts outshot the Attack 33-29 while going 1 for 5 on the power play; the Attack were 1 for 6.
Next up for Owen Sound is a trip to Kitchener to face the Midwest Division leading Rangers on Friday.
