Nominations are now open for the South Bruce Peninsula heritage awards.
The Town says if you know of a person or group who has helped preserve and celebrate the heritage of South Bruce Peninsula, you’re encouraged to submit a nomination for the 2026 award.
You can nominate an individual, organization, business, or religious group whose efforts have made a lasting impact on the community’s heritage.
This could include:
– Restoring or preserving historic buildings
– Publishing local history or research
– Delivering educational or heritage-focused initiatives
– Other meaningful contributions that honour the Town’s past
Nomination forms are available on the Town website (southbrucepeninsula.com) or by contacting Town Hall. The deadline is February 4th at noon. You can send your nomination to angie.cathrae@southbrucepeninsula.com.
