Hanover Police say they have taken nearly $30,000 in drugs off the street after a traffic stop.
Police say, back on December 23rd, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. Hanover police officers stopped a vehicle with unauthorized licence plates in the downtown.
They say an investigation resulted in the arrest of the male driver and two female passengers.
Police allege they were found in possession of about $1,400 in meth, about $5,000 worth of fentanyl and about $23,000 in cocaine, along with digital scales, packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia.
Officers say they also seized property believed to be stolen.
Police have charged a 41-year-old Southgate man, a 33 year old Hanover woman, and a 50 year old Brockton woman with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking in fentanyl and possession of methamphetamine.
They say the driver also faces further charges under the Highway Traffic Act.
The suspects were later released from police custody on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Walkerton Court.
