A RIDE checkpoint on Neywash Street in Orillia resulted in impaired charges for a commercial vehicle operator.
Yesterday, just before midnight, officers charged a 50 year old Orillia man – in addition to the impaired charge, he faces charges including having open liquor , improper license and failure to complete daily inspection report on the vehicle.
He’s got a court date February 17th.
Police continue to urge motorists to call 911 if a driver is suspected of being impaired.
