The Municipality of Kincardine is looking to hear from the community on the redevelopment of MacPherson Park.
The future redevelopment project aims to make the playground fully accessible and inclusive by addressing modern accessibility standards and long-term durability.
Residents are invited to attend a community engagement session on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Davidson Centre.
Attendees will have the chance to offer feedback and view what the playground could look like.
All are welcome to attend the session, which will focus on the overall direction of the project rather than final playground details.
Director of Community Services Luke Bedard says this is an opportunity for the community to help shape the vision for the park
“The feedback we gather will guide playground designers as they develop concept options for future review, including consultation with accessibility partners and schools,” says Bedard.
More details on the project can be found on the municipal website here.
