Saugeen Shores police have arrested a woman after an alleged parking lot assault.
Police say just after 2:15 Sunday afternoon officers responded to an assault in progress in the parking lot of a shopping plaza.
They say the victim and the accused were not known to each other.
Officers say as a result of an investigation, a 41-year-old Saugeen Shores woman has been arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
She was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
