West Grey Police say one person has died in a single vehicle collision near Lamlash.
Police say they responded to a collision Thursday, January 8th at about 5 p.m. on Sideroad 5 between Concession 4 NDR and Concession 6 NDR.
Police say despite the best efforts of all on scene the male driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead. A female youth passenger was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say, at the request of the family no identifying information will be released.
West Grey Police add, they “extend their deepest condolences to the family, friends and loved ones affected by this devastating loss.”
They’re asking that the family’s privacy be respected.
The road has since reopened.
