The snow is not letting up yet.
Snow squall warnings remain in place around the Grey Bruce region, as Environment Canada is calling for another 15-30 centimetres of snow today. Then tonight as we ring in the new year, another 10 centimetres could hit the ground.
“Snow squalls are expected to be stationary, bringing the potential for significant accumulating snow,” Environment Canada says in its warning. “Winds have eased and blowing snow is less of a concern.”
As of 6 a.m. Wednesday, Highway 21 remains closed between Port Elgin and Kincardine. Several Bruce County roads are closed as well. You can check the latest road conditions and closures report here.
