Saugeen Shores Police is asking for assistance following an attempted break and enter at a home in the area of Hillcrest Drive yesterday morning.
Police say at 7:30 a.m., officers responded to the home where and unknown man broke the glass storm door to the home while the home owner was inside.
Police believe the man may have injured himself in the process after discovering blood on the scene.
Police are asking residents in the area of Hillcrest Drive, Amanda’s Way and Ridge Street to review any CCTV footage they may have between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
The suspect is described as a white man, possibly between the ages of 45 and 60-years-old, wearing work boots, a black toque, and a yellow and brown plaid work jacket.
