Hubertus Broeders of Dashwood matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the October 25, 2025 LOTTO 6/49 draw to win $1 million!
A pair of Huron County residents won major jackpots with Ontario Lottery and Gaming.
OLG says Hubertus Broeders of Dashwood won $1 million, after matching all seven ENCORE numbers for the October 25th Lotto 6/49 draw.
Broeders says he has been playing the lottery for over forty years, and this is his first major win.
Hubertus looks forward to some well-deserved travel and plans to donate a portion of his prize to a food bank.
“I love to fish, and I want to take a fishing trip to Florida. I’d also like to visit New England, and I’ve always wanted to experience the Calgary Stampede — which I plan to do next year,” he told lottery officials.
Meantime, Joyce George of Wingham is $100 thousand richer, after winning a top prize with INSTANT SNOWFLAKE MULTIPLIER.
George moved from Alberta to Ontario in 2024, and checked his tickets while grocery shopping with his family.
He plans on putting his windfall toward a downpayment on a home.
