The Orillia Museum of Art & History has announced its acquisition of 100 items from the recent Gordon Lightfoot Estate Auction.
According to a news release, the support of a generous donor helped to make it possible. The OMAH was able to secure a significant selection of artifacts, the majority of which have meaningful ties to Orillia.
Select items from the estate auction will be added to the permanent exhibition dedicated to Gordon Lightfoot, in May 2026.
Board members of the OMAH says Gordon Lightfoot’s legacy is both a local treasure and a national one.
