The Town of Saugeen Shores is unveiling designs for ready-to-build homes in a new initiative.
This initiative, in collaboration with Invizij Architects and Tim Welch Consulting, aims to streamline the development of housing in the community.
It offers designs for duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes with supports for a range of housing needs including for seniors and downsizing to rental income opportunities.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says this initiative provides a head start by streamlining the planning review process and reducing costs.
“By offering ready-to-build designs, we’re making it easier and more affordable for residents to unlock the potential of their own property while contributing to a growing and diverse housing landscape,” says Charbonneau.
The initiative is part of the town’s Housing Accelerator Fund to speed up the delivery of diverse and attainable housing.
