An Orillia woman was piloting a small plane that crashed near Sarnia’s airport Friday night…she survived the crash.
Transport Canada is investigating the cause – According to Sarnia police, emergency crews were called to the area at 9:25 p.m.
Police say the 21 year old pilot crawled out of the windshield after the impact and was then helped by a passerby – she was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the scene and at hospital.
The Cessna had taken off from the Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre.
