Huron County wants your thoughts on homelessness and housing along Ontario’s West Coast.
A survey has been launched, asking your thoughts on what housing issues are the most pressing for the region, and what you feel the best solutions are.
The survey is part of a 10-year Housing and Homelessness Plan, which will also involve focus groups, interviews, and a community workshop to help refine draft goals and strategies for the updated Plan.
Among the questions in the survey are:
- What do you see as the most pressing housing issue currently facing Huron?
- Are there groups of residents that, in your opinion, have a particularly difficult time finding adequate, affordable housing?
- What do you see as the biggest challenges to meeting future housing needs in Huron?
- What types of housing support services are most needed in Huron?
- What opportunities and approaches do you think could help address housing challenges and future housing needs?
The survey closes December 24th, and you can the link here.
