South Bruce OPP say a Chesley man is facing an impaired driving charge after a vehicle was found in the ditch.
Police say on Dec. 5 around 5:45 p.m., officers responded to a collision on Concession 22 in Brockton.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a pick-up truck in the ditch, but the driver did not remain.
Officers located the driver nearby shortly afterwards and when speaking with the driver, police say the officer detected signs of impairment and took the driver into custody.
As a result, the 28-year-old man was charged with impaired operation.
The accused is set to appear in court in Walkerton next month.
