The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is ringing in the holiday season with a special event.
On Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the museum will be holding its annual Light Up the Holidays event.
It will feature holiday singalongs by the Chantry Singers, photos with Santa, making holiday crafts, festive face painting, and watching live heritage demonstrations.
Additionally, there will also be a colouring contest, scavenger hunt, and a Price is Right game with some prizes up for grabs.
The Museum’s Book Nook space will be reserved for holiday storytime readings by the Bruce County Public Library, which will have the Bookmobile on hand for people to rent out books over the holidays.
Attendees will be able to enjoy various refreshments including hot chocolate and festive cookie decorating.
Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to register ahead of time as there are limited seats.
