The Tara Branch of the Bruce County Public Library will be closed for two weeks while renovations are taking place.
Between December 8th and 22nd, the branch will be closed to the public while new flooring and upgraded shelving are installed.
This means that the branch and book drop will be unavailable.
Patrons wanting to return their library books can do so at any other branch of the Bruce County Public Library.
Library staff will also be in touch with anyone who has an existing hold to arrange an alternate pick-up date or location.
Staff are also reminding everyone that while the Tara branch is going to be closed, the BCPL’s digital library is available online 24/7, with access to eBooks, audiobooks, streaming content, newspapers, and other digital services.
Once the renovations are complete, the Library will be holding an Open House event for community members to have a chance to see the updates.
