100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce have wrapped up 2025 with their largest donation to date.
In their November meeting, the group elected to contribute $38,400 to Bruce Grey Mentorship.
100 Women Who Care is a group of women from around the community, who each give $100 of their own money.
That money is then pooled, and the group, which currently has 384 members, votes for the local organization or charity to receive the money.
Bruce Grey Mentorship, which was founded in 2015, is dedicated to matching local children and youth with mentors who can help build confidence, belonging, and self-esteem.
The organization works with kids aged 7-17, many of whom face social or emotional challenges.
Bruce Grey Mentorship has three key program streams: group programs, one-on-one mentorship, and an adventure club.
Across their four meetings throughout 2025, members collectively raised $142,100.
Anyone interested in joining 100 Women Who Care are invited to the group’s first meeting of 2026, which will be held at the Bruce County Museum in Southampton on March 28th.
