A fundraising effort is gaining momentum for the family of a 38-year-old County of Simcoe employee killed in a workplace accident Monday. Sarah Monaghan died after being struck by a truck at the Oro-Medonte landfill site.
Monaghan leaves behind three children, and a Gofundme campaign had raised more than 70 thousand dollars as of Thursday evening, to support her family and cover funeral costs.
