South Bruce OPP have charged a man in a weapon related incident.
OPP say on November 27th, at approximately 9:45 p.m., they received a weapons call at a residence in Paisley.
OPP say it is alleged that an altercation took place between two people and a firearm was brandished.
Police say the people were known to each other, and it was an isolated incident.
They say the victim fled the area and contacted police.
OPP attended and contained the property where the accused exited and surrendered to police. There were no reported injuries.
A search warrant was executed at the residence the following day where police say they seized several firearms and ammunition.
A 53 year old Arran-Elderslie man is charged with pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and released from custody with a court date.
