South Bruce OPP have charged a man after an altercation.
They say just before 4:30 in the afternoon on Monday, November 24th, they received a report of a disturbance in the area of MacDonald Street and Queen Street in Ripley.
OPP say officers learned a telecommunications company was working in the area when an employee was confronted by what they describe as a ‘disgruntled resident.’
Police say the man continued to cause a scene, yelling and using profanities before striking the company’s vehicle with a steel pole, causing damage.
As a result of an investigation, police arrested and charged a 33 year old resident of Huron-Kinloss with causing a disturbance and mischief under $5,000.
