Georgian Bay Township’s Integrity Commissioner has found two members of council breached the municipality’s code of conduct. The commissioner found that councillor Brian Bochek failed to treat staff with respect, resulting in intimidation.
Councillor Kristian Graziano was also found to have engaged in conduct that intimidated and bullied staff.
Penalties will be considered by council at their next meeting on Monday.
The commissioner is recommending both be formally reprimanded, and apologize to the staff involved.
She also suggests Graziano lose 15 days pay, and take training on respectful workplace policies.
