
Cole Zurawski’s second period goal stood up as the game-winner as the Owen Sound Attack held on to beat the Ottawa 67’s 2-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Noah Roberts also scored for Owen Sound (15-8-0-2), which never trailed in the game.
Nic Whitehead had the lone goal for Ottawa (17-6-1-1), which had a five-game winning streak and 11-game point streak come to an end.
The Attack improved to 8-0 this season against Eastern Conference teams.
Carter George made 29 saves in the win, while Jaeden Nelson stopped 29 taking the loss. The Attack outshot Ottawa 31-30 while going 0 for 2 on the power play; The 67’s finished 0 for 3.
Owen Sound will close out its three-in-three weekend Sunday afternoon with a home game against Flint Firebirds. Game time is 2 p.m at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
