West Grey police have released a statement regarding the collision that claimed the lives of three teens and injured a fourth.
It happened November 11th on Concession 2 SDR between Allan Park Road and Grey Road 3.
Police say their investigation has determined the lone vehicle involved was travelling westbound before it left the road. No other vehicles were involved in causing this collision.
West Grey Police say they are aware of misinformation circulating on social media suggesting a following vehicle failed to stop or call for help.
They say that is incorrect.
They add, “The West Grey Police Service is urging the public to refrain from sharing unverified information and to be respectful as the affected families, friends, and community members continue to grieve this devastating loss. This is a time for compassion and support, not blame.”
They say further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
