A 21-year-old from Lucknow has been hit with a Highway Traffic Act offence notice after allegedly striking a hydro pole.
South Bruce OPP say they responded to a single vehicle incident along Bruce Road 1 in Huron-Kinloss just after 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Police officers arrived on scene to find a vehicle had struck a hydro pole. The accident resulted in the closure of Bruce Road 1 from Bruce Road 6 to Statters Lake Avenue for several hours yesterday for hydro repairs.
The OPP say a 21-year-old driver from Lucknow was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with careless driving.
