Bruce Power has launched its annual online fundraiser for holiday toy drives and hamper programs.
The company is encouraging its employees, contractors, supplier partners, and the community to raise $55,000 to help those local programs across Grey, Bruce, and Huron counties.
Bruce Power and the United Way raise money for different toy drives and hamper programs that assist local families during the holiday season.
The money is being raised for:
• Beaver Valley Outreach
• Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation
• Dorrell Young Christmas Program, Bruce County
• Dundalk Food Bank
• Durham and District Food Bank

Bruce Power’s Director of Community and External Affairs Maggie Tieman says that with the rising prices for food and housing, it had been a difficult year for families in the region, and the power producer is hoping that those who can help others will give generously.
Donations can be made this month through brucepowertoydrive.com until 11:59 pm on November 24th.
