The MS Chi-Cheemaun will be arriving at its winter berth in Owen Sound this afternoon.
The ship departed Tobermory on its fall repositioning cruise this morning, and is scheduled to enter the Owen Sound Harbour at around 4 p.m.
The Owen Sound City Band is scheduled to perform in the harbour from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to accompany the ferry’s arrival.
“Bring your noisemakers, flags and pompoms as we transform the waterfront into an exciting display of sound, colour and celebration,” a release from the Owen Sound Transportation Company says.
The Chi-Cheemaun’s annual fall repositioning cruise marks the end of the ferry season between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island.
