Local charities and fundraising organizations across Southern Georgian Bay have united in making an appeal for continued and annual holiday giving this season.
Challenges posed by a Canada Post work stoppage had a huge effect last year, so in a proactive move reps from several organizations including CGMH Foundation, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Hospice Georgian Triangle, The Humane Society and My Friend’s House have met to brainstorm how to make giving easier.
Supporters are encouraged to reach out directly to their charity of choice for alternative donation options, including online portals, local drop-off locations, or secure e-transfers.
