The Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB) is looking to hear from the community on the design for the new Kincardine District Senior School.
The new school has a modified design of the John Deifenbaker Senior School in Hanover, which the BWDSB says the modernized facility has been warmly received by students, staff and families.
The overall design will include nine dedicated Grade Seven and Eight classrooms on the first floor, a cafeteria overlooking a stage, offices, and special education rooms as well as a triple gym and weight rooms.
Between now and Oct. 24, students, staff, families and community members can visit the BWDSB website here to view the preliminary floor plan as well as renderings of the two-story Grades 7 to 12 school.
