A crowd of scarecrows will be out in their finest flannel for the Meaford Scarecrow Invasion Parade Friday evening.
It starts at 6 p.m. downtown on Sykes Street. The Meaford Scarecrow Invasion is already underway from September 5th to October 26th, with scarecrows all over the town, but on Friday, it’s the big event.
There’s also an apple pie contest Friday.
After the parade, there’s a festival with food, entertainment and family fun at the Rotary Harbour Pavilion.
