Hanover Police say a man faces numerous charges after being arrested three times in five days for alleged, unrelated occurrences.
Police say they were called to a Hanover business earlier today (Monday) for a report of a man who was yelling at staff and their customers.
Hanover Police allege a 41-year-old man was responsible for the disturbance. He was located not far from the business, arrested and charged with mischief and several counts of breach of probation.
Police say the 41-year-old accused was arrested two other times in recent days, charged and released.
Friday, police say he was arrested by a “neighbouring police service for property crimes and held for a bail hearing.”
And last Thursday, Sept. 18, Hanover Police allege the man of no fixed address was arrested and charged after an investigation into an incident of criminal harassment.
“The investigation revealed that the male had repeatedly followed a woman and her infant while they were out for a walk in the community,” Hanover Police say in a release. “It was also determined that the suspect and the victim were not known to one another.”
Hanover Police didn’t identify the man but say he is scheduled to have a bail hearing today relating to the most recent arrest.
