Bruce County is holding a Household Hazardous Waste event in Southampton next week.
On Sept. 27, residents are invited to attend the Southampton Works Yard from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to dispose of their waste.
Some of the items attendees can dispose of include paints and stains, propane tanks, used oil, batteries, antifreeze, and more.
Commercial, agricultural and industrial waste will not be accepted, as well as PCB’s, ammunitions, and flares.
