A fundraiser to benefit the Billy Bishop Museum will be happening at the Owen Sound Legion this month.
Mandi Craddock will be singing the music of Patsy Cline, while the Williamson Family Opry will be playing country classics.
Chair of the Fundraising Committee for the Billy Bishop Museum Diane Sprung said that they’re looking to raise funds for day-to-day operations, as well as new programming initiatives.
“This fundraising event goes to the ongoing maintenance and conservation of the museum,” said Sprung. “Also an ongoing initiative of honouring our local veterans, developing new and engaging exhibits, improving virtual access for remote visitors, and offering diverse educational programs for learners of all ages.”
The show will also feature Kenny Fromager, and promises to be a fun afternoon event.
“Mandi has done this show in the surrounding areas of Owen Sound for a while, and these shows are always a favourite and always sell out, so we thought we’d bring it to Owen Sound.”
Doors open at 1:30, with the show beginning at 2 pm.
The cash bar will also be open, offering beverages and snacks. The performance is for ages 19+.
Tickets are $30 in advance available here, or $35 at the door.
