Police in Orillia are investigating an incident in the area of Lightfoot Drive between Mississauga Street East and Coldwater Street East near The Port of Orillia.
Earlier today (Thurs) a high presence of officers in the area had police asking residents to stay away for several hours.
Police updated the situation around 2 this afternoon by saying the heavy police presence has been cleared but an investigation is ongoing.
No other details have been released, and police say there is no threat to public safety.
