The Shallow Lake Sting dropped their first two games at Softball Canada’s U23 event in Kitchener.
The Sting were sloppy defensively in their opener, losing 9-0 to the New Hamburg Mustangs.
In their second out, Shallow Lake couldn’t hold an early 2-0 lead, and fell 4-2 to Rostock.
The Sting have two games today; the first one comes up at 1 p.m., against the defending champions from Newfoundland.
