Ontario beat Quebec 4-2 to capture gold in men’s softball at the Canada Games in Newfoundland.
Joseph Weiler of Hepworth was the winning pitcher going all seven innings & giving up five hits.
Alex McGillivray of Durham was 3 for 3, with a double & a run scored.
Dakota McComb (Williamsford) & Connor Paige (Hanover) were also members of Team Ontario.
