A number of municipalities in Grey Bruce have lifted their fire bans now that we’ve gotten some rain.
Those that have lifted their partial bans so far include Brockton, Huron-Kinloss, Georgian Bluffs, Meaford, Southgate, South Bruce Peninsula, Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation and West Grey.
You can check your municipality’s website or social media to see if there’s still a ban.
Most of them in Grey Bruce still allowed campfires, but limited other types of burning.
