Grey Bruce OPP is investigating a break and enter at a home in Grey Highlands.
Police say between 4:10 a.m. and 4:20 a.m. on Aug. 11, two people entered a home on Valley Crescent — east of Markdale — and confronted the occupants before fleeing the scene.
One person was assaulted during the incident and sustained minor injuries. Several items were also stolen.
Police responded to the incident after being contacted by the neighbour.
OPP say officers canvassed the neighbourhood for potential surveillance footage and continue to investigate.
Police ask anyone in the area to check their security cameras or dashcams for any suspicious activity between 4 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 11.
