One person died and several were injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened yesterday afternoon on Highway 11.
The crash happened on southbound Highway 11 at Allensville Road between a Chevy Cobalt and a Honda CRV.
Huntsville/Lake of Bays OPP say that four people were in the Honda, and three were taken to hospital. One of those people were airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with life-altering injuries. Another was admitted to local hospital. A third person, a 46-year-old woman from Campbellville Flamborough Township, died from her injuries. The fourth occupant from the vehicle was treated and released.
The driver of the Chevy was treated for minor injuries and released.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
