Members of the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a traffic collision on Monck Road in the Township of Ramara. Investigation is on-going and Officers are requesting the public’s assistance.
On July 26th at 3:09 p.m., officers from the Orillia detachment of the OPP were dispatched to a traffic collision on Monck Road, in the Township of Ramara.
A passenger vehicle and Motor cycle collided and multiple injuries were reported. Township of Ramara Fire, Rama Emergency Medical Services (Rama EMS), Simcoe County Paramedic Services (SCEMS), and Rama Police Service attended the scene. Officers located the involved parties and vehicles east of Side Road 25. While on scene one individual was transported to a Toronto area hospital by Air ORNG and a second individual was transported by Ambulance to a Toronto area hospital with serious life altering injuries. The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Unit (TIME) along with reconstructionist attended the scene. Monck Road was closed for several hours and has since reopened.
