Grey Bruce Public Health is asking for assistance identifying the owner of a dog involving in a biting incident in Saugeen Shores.
Public health says around noon on July 25, an individual was bitten while trying to separate two dogs engaged in a fight near the Saugeen Shores municipal office on Wellington Street.
The dog which bit the individual, is described as a medium-sized and mixed colour.
Both of the dogs involved were joined by people who witnesses believe were the owners of the dogs.
Public health says it needs to confirm if the dog involving in the biting incident does not have rabies as the victim can avoid treatment.
