The City of Owen Sound is planning a weekend of tall ships, music and a movie night.
On Friday, Owen Sound is hosting an outdoor movie night at the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre where it will show Disney’s 2025 live-action remake of Snow White.
The event opens at 7 p.m. and is free for all to attend.
There will also be activities and treats for children.
Between Friday and Monday, people can also catch a glimpse of the large TS Playfair Tall Ship which will be docked along the west harbour wall.
The 80-foot ship, operated by Brigs Youth Sail Training, will have free deck tours on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. near the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre.
The ship, built in 1973, offers a look back on maritime history with its classical rigging and design.
To cap off the weekend, TD Harbour Nights will be featuring live music by The O’Deadlys at 7 p.m. on the Sunday.
