Bruce County is launching a survey to make the community more age-friendly.
The survey is part of the county’s development of the new Age-Friendly Communities Framework, which will operate as a roadmap for actionable strategies in creating a community for the aging population.
Residents 50 years and older as well as their caregivers are invited to participate in the survey and share their thoughts on the framework.
The results from the survey will assist in determining the framework’s priorities.
The county identifies an age-friendly community as one where older adults can maintain financial security, continue learning and gowning, and staying engaged in the community.
The survey can be competed online here, and hard copies can be found at the Walkerton Administration Centre, Penetangore Hub, Lakeshore Hub, Peninsula Hub, Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre, and any Bruce County Public Library.
