The OPP is advising the public of multiple road restrictions currently in effect near Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, due to the first minister’s summit.
These measures are in place to manage traffic flow and ensure public safety.
The following roads are restricted to local traffic only:
* Deerhurst Road westbound at Pen Lake Point Road – Closed to through traffic
* Deerhurst Road west of Ski Club Road – Local traffic only
* Deerhurst Road east of Canal Road – Local traffic only
These restrictions will be in effect during the day, and lifted during the evening hours as follows:
* Monday, July 21 – restrictions lifted at 6:00 p.m.
* Tuesday, July 22 – restrictions lifted at 9:00 p.m.
* Wednesday, July 23 – restrictions lifted at 6:00 p.m., at which time all restrictions will be fully removed.
Motorists are asked to respect all posted signage and traffic control personnel. Please plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
