An adventure down a closed road resulted in impaired and dangerous driving charges for a Brockton woman.
South Bruce OPP say they responded to a report of a collision on Bruce Road 19 in Arran-Elderslie just before 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
Police say a vehicle struck a parked excavator on a section of closed road. The driver then allegedly fled the scene, but was located shortly after by police officers.
The OPP claim the officer detected signs of impairment, and took the driver into custody for further testing.
A 26-year-old Brockton woman was charged with impaired and dangerous operations, and also faces several Highway Traffic Act offences.
