Goderich Post Office (Google Maps)
The Canada Post office on East Street in Goderich has re-opened, following a nearly week-long closure.
A statement from Canada Post claims the office at 35 East Street was closed on July 11th, due to air quality concerns.
A spokesperson with the Canadian Union of Postal Works has confirmed to Bayshore Broadcasting News the Goderich post office has re-opened, as of Thursday.
They confirm mail delivery has resumed, but a backlog has developed from the closure.
