A Huron County resident has received national recognition for their longstanding charity work.
Bill Don was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his long-time commitment to Habitat For Humanity Huron County.
The King Charles III Coronation Medal recognizes individuals for their exceptional contributions to Canada and remarkable achievements.
In a news release, Habitat For Humanity says Don has volunteered for the organization for thirteen years, contributing over 10 thousand volunteer hours.
Habitat Volunteer Coordinator, Dave Morrison says that, “we are constantly inspired by our volunteers’ commitment and and passion for our cause. We wouldn’t be able to do the work that we do without them. Habitat is proud to honour Bill with the award.”
