Grey Bruce Public Health is asking for assistance identifying the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident in the Town of the Blue Mountains.
On July 12 around 8:45 p.m., public health says a three-year-old child was bitten by a dog at Thornbury Beach.
The dog is described as large with black fur and was with a man and woman while on a leash.
Public health needs to confirm if the dog is not infectious with rabies as the victim can avoid receiving post-exposure treatment.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact public health at 519-376-9420.
