Huron County’s fight against cancer got a generous donation from a Lucknow service club.
The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation announced a $15 thousand donation from the Lucknow and District Kinette Club.
The funds were raised to support the chemotherapy clinic in honour of club members Natalie McDonagh and Tracey Simpson who received treatment alongside one another at the Wingham & District Hospital.
A fundraising event raised $10 for the hospital, while the Kinettes topped off the donation with an additional $5 thousand.
